The following is a message from our Choir Director Andrew Mercer:
"A brand new and exciting season of the Okanagan Celtic Choir is upon us and I am looking forward to working with you all again this year. We will of course be doing a couple of Christmas events this year, but we will not be focusing on Christmas music this year, rather we will be learning more Celtic pieces in order to put on a full Okanagan Celtic Choir Show later in the spring.
We are looking for new members again this year. As a reminder, this is a fun choir and no auditions are necessary to join. Please confirm your participation with me at your convenience.
The first session will be on September 17th this year at the Church of Christ on Pleasant Valley Rd in Vernon and will go from 7 pm to 8:30 pm every Wednesday evening.
Cost of the choir is $50 per month ($200 total for the session) or $180 for the whole session if paid up front at the first session on September 17th.
I will once again have posters and a sign up sheet at the Labour Day Farmer's Market on September 1st, and to answer questions about the choir.
